Essentially, this is actually about medical schooling and how to get a certificate after taking a short course. This topic supposedly covers that. Unfortunately, none of us here are experts or professionals regarding anything medical. With a crew that houses almost a thousand people, it is safe to say that their reputation is well earned, especially with their captain and their commanders. A personal favorite is Ace because he is the youngest commander and happens to be the oldest brother of Luffy.
We know that doctors exist in that world. We know this because the main character has a doctor on his ship and an ally who is a surgeon. So with this, we assume that they must go through the same extensive schooling we do? Maybe with a lot more adjustments since they so many variety of creatures there.
Usopp is next and we would want to say that he is the epitome of normal. If not for the fact that he was starting to develops Haki when we last watched the show. His eyes can suddenly see even from a mile away, or maybe even two miles and more. How is that physically possible? Is that a gift or a deformity?
Donquixote Family. They are more of a mafia type of crew more than anything. They dealt with the darker part of the world while they pose as supposed heroes in Dressrosa, even though it was really them who ruined that country. Doflamingo used to take care of Law but in actuality, his brother Rosinante was the one who cared.
Franky. Where oh where do we start with this one. This guy is a cyborg, by the way. And while this does not actually make any crazy difference as being a rubber person or even be a talking reindeer, majority of his body is still made of mechanical parts. Does Chopper have to become a mechanic as well as a doctor?
Is it considered stupid to contemplate this? We like to think that we are open minded and want to be ready for anything that happens. In our world, we might not be as crazy as the people in One Piece, but we can be just as unpredictable at times.
