Church membership can be a squirmy thing to contemplate, and that is thoroughly understandable. After all, you get all those extremists upfront, promising either salvation or annihilation. In its biblical sense, the church is not just the corporeal building. Rather, it refers to the whole body of people with a common end and goal. It has its trail of benefits, but it also serves a purpose and calls for certain responsibilities.
