The introduction is meant to explain the uses of all equipment and materials placed at each station. Set the rules of usage with rewards and warnings. Children take some time to adapt to the routine. It calls for constant reminder and guidance until the routine forms on their minds.

Observe and evaluate how kids are using your station. Have a notebook where you record usage. The information you collect will enable you to maximize on the space and enhance its effectiveness. Further, you will get ideas on the materials you can add in future or modifications that you need to make. The notes also help you to identify areas where you can guide your pupils to enhance utilization of the space.

Do not include fragile objects unless children can handle them. You can make additions and subtractions depending on response you receive from your pupils.

Individual and overall setup determine the effectiveness of any space. The room should accommodate an optimum number of stations based on the number of students. Consider lighting, water, electricity and other amenities that your station might require. Education guidelines must also be followed during set up.
